plussixfive presents Brave Exhibitions - 8th August, Juno

On Friday 8th August at Juno Shoreditch, plussixfive will feature one of the most talked about acts in east London in a clash of musical styles of post punk & minimal wave.

Brave Exhibitions
is actually a monthly performance art club at the MacBeth, Hoxton Street.

The resident DJs Blix and SpeakMarauder play post-punk and minimal-wave and are joined each month by guest DJs, who have included Secret Plot (The Liberty Snake), Lady Himalaya (Decasia Club), Dr Infarktas (Salta Kava), and DJs from Jungs + Technik and Reeperbahn. On August 13th guest DJs will include members of Ulterior and Sean McClusky of the legendary punk band the Subway Sect.

Every month Brave Exhibitions hosts performance artists and underground music acts. In the past we have featured performances by Stav B, Spiritwo, ImonomI, and An Experiement on a Bird in the Air Pump. At the next Brave Exhibitions in August RMF-Noir will be giving on of his rare solo soundscape performances, and Micron 63, side-project of New Black Light Machine, will be playing.

Brave Exhibitions has been written about in a number of London newspapers, and online on Flavorpill and has attracted attention from some high profile punters, including members of the Charlatans, the Horrors, and the Violets.
