This edition of PLUSSIXFIVE also celebrates the best film works by independent producers from Singapore and aims to give an alternative insight into Asian and particularly Singapore cinema & culture. In association with Sinema.sg, more than 10 works of video & film art have been commissioned and will be exclusively screened throughout the night – for the 1st time in the UK.

Get set for a 2 hour visual feast of indie short films produced by:

LEON CHEO
CHENG DING AN
RAY PANG

PLUSSIXFIVE promises to be very dirty and nasty. Bring your shovels and shades – because your senses will be in overdrive!

Aftermath of PLUSSIXFIVE - 8th Aug 2008

Thanks to all of you who came to Juno on our opening night - you rocked the dancefloor! We had to chase some of you away because the venue had to close!?

More photos at our Facebook Group page. Do add your own photos if you had come by and took some photos. Tag us too!

BTW, some of you have been emailing us to ask us what PLUSSIXFIVE means. It is simply the IDD phone country code of Singapore - the country which the organisers (us) belong to. Rather than naming it Singapore or Lion City Party or something lame, we thought PLUSSIXFIVE (rather than +65) would be LESS LAME. Oh well, now YOU KNOW. So, go spread the word, tell your friends because we're so enthused by the success of this party we're all working on the next party on Sept 19th, Friday

PLUSSIXFIVE 2 : It's going to be bigger, better, bolder .. and did we mention TWO rooms of music?

Hang on to your underpants and panties - the venue is confirmed but we can't tell you yet!

Meanwhile, enjoy the photos below!

Dress code for plussixfive?!

Hilarious dancing moves in equally smashing outfits captured at the recent Friday Late Village Fete @ V&A Museum, London - but it could well work for the plussixfive night this coming Friday!

Come in something similarly and we'll buy you a drink!

Anyone who knows where this group is from, drop a comment please!
